The Young Artists Workshop was created to serve developing singers and pianists in the North Texas Region, as well as the public at large. With this innovative program, we hope to achieve a broad exposure of Art Song in our community through a series of meaningful and enriching events, including lectures, master classes, and concerts, offered at no cost to participating artists and attendees.

The Inaugural 2008 Workshop was very successful bringing together singers and pianists from high schools and colleges throughout the Metroplex to the TCU Opera Studio to work with esteemed pianist and vocal coach, Arlene Shrut, founder of New Triad for Collaborative Arts and faculty at Manhattan School of Music and The Juilliard School. The next YAW will be held in spring 2011. Details will be announced with the start of the 20010-2011 season.
